~ Steven P., Studio Parent“Great teacher. lots of experience. fast passed learning. my children are never board. always moving forward. within a couple weeks my kids could play multiple variations of twinkle and almost a new song each week. she always has new trick/tool up her sleeve to help get my boy back on track. I love learning with my kids and being involved in their progression.”
~ Alex S., Studio Parent“We have been so pleased with our daughter’s violin lessons. Andrea is an amazing teacher. She is positive, encouraging and fun!”
~ The Goldbergs, Studio Family“After moving to Colorado we immediately sought a violin instructor to continue my daughter’s growth with her instrument. At the time we tried three different instructors 4 times over the course of a months time. We quickly determined that Andrea was the fit we were seeking. We were unfamiliar with the Suzuki method and Andrea respected the technique focus my daughter was accustomed to and created a happy medium approach that fit my daughter’s level and need, a bit of Suzuki and time to work on other less formulaic methods and skills. Most importantly, what we love is the positive attitude and encouragement provided, as this has built my daughter’s confidence tremendously and the growth over the last 18 months has been phenomenal.”
~ Tiffany B., Studio Parent“It’s really hard to transfer what you know to someone else, and you did it really well. So thank you!”
~ ODPC Funfest Fiddle Participant“My daughter has been studying with Andrea for many years and continues to grow as a musician at a great pace. As a former professional musician, I can say she provides exactly what kids need nowadays. Andrea is a wealth of knowledge, very personable, teaches with positive encouragement, and she actively grows as a teacher to constantly evolve her own skills.”
~ Craig S., Studio Parent“Thank you for all your patience and support.”
~ Nancy, Jace, & Christen, Studio Family“My daughter has been going to Andrea for violin lessons for 3 years and we have had nothing short of a great experience the whole time! Andrea is very prompt in her schedule and communication, never makes you feel rushed and always takes the time and goes over the lesson time without making you feel that you are taking up her time. It is very apparent that she cares a lot about the children and if you didn’t know already, you would assume she had kids of her own. Andrea is very knowledgeable about the Suzuki method and is adaptable to all kids and how they learn. She really puts in the extra effort with my daughter, is very engaging and Andrea always makes us feel like we are the only one she is teaching. There are many times where we had to switch to a Skype lesson last minute and Andrea was more than accommodating. Our daughter loves Andrea and has learned so much so quickly. She is very encouraging, caring and truly seems that she cares about our daughter’s progress. I had a parent freakout moment a few months back in getting my daughter to practice and Andrea was very gracious and helped us get through it. Her house is the perfect setting for violin lessons and we love coming there. I could go on and on about how versitale Andrea is and all of the things we live about her and she has done for us… especially during the difficult time of COVID…her lessons have been seamless in the transition. Please give Andrea a shot, you won’t have to find another violin or viola teacher. Thanks Andrea!”
~ Brandon T., Studio Parent“Thank you for being an amazing ukulele teacher! I look forward to next year!”
~L., Ukulele Student“Our daughter has been studying with Andrea for 4 years. Andrea is attentive, patient, nurturing, skilled and talented. She helped our daughter prepare for her audition for Denver School of the Arts and continues to help her be prepared with her orchestra pieces for DSA and for her chair auditions and other requirements there as well as helping her to polish and complete new pieces. She has group lessons and recitals that involve all of her studio students. She keeps us informed of local performances and music opportunities. She is a fantastic mentor, with a positive attitude. If we ever have a question or concern she responds immediately. She is professional and at the same time makes things fun. We are glad to have her in our lives and would recommend her without hesitation.”
~ Hilary C., Studio Parent“Love the compliment card idea!!! Kids REALLY took pride reading them!”
~ Studio Parent“We were recommended to Andrea about 3.5 years ago when my daughter was auditioning for the Denver School of the Arts. We were so impressed by her approach to teaching, down to earth personality, and the attentive detail she provided to my daughter that we decided to enroll our 3 kids with her for viola and violin lessons. We continue lessons with her after all these years because first and foremost my kids admire, respect, and love her. She has connected with them on a unique musical and emotional level that has kept them engaged, focused, enthusiastic, and yearning for musical advancement. I love that Andrea continues to seek education for herself by attending teacher workshops, festivals, and is an active member of professional organizations and orchestras. She has taught me so much about ways to support and help foster musical opportunities for my kids. Andrea provides encouragement, preparation, and skills needed for my kids to participate in competitions, music festivals, specialty camps, and I credit her with helping my 2nd daughter gain admission to DSA as well. We value Andrea’s flexibility with scheduling extra last minute lessons, skype lessons, supplemental practice videos, monthly newsletter, recitals, and being so genuine and passionate. There are many more resources, and performing opportunities that she provides, the list is too long. I can’t recommend her enough. My kids are lucky to have her as a teacher and we are grateful to have found her.”
